Officer Javier Bejar passed away the morning of Monday, March 1st, 2010, after being taken off life support. Your thoughts and prayers for the Bejar family are encouraged.
Funeral services for our fallen Officer were held Monday, March 8th, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Fresno Exhibit Hall, with burial at the Reedley Cemetery. The funeral procession from the Fresno Exhibit Hall to the Reedley Cemetery stretched for miles as officers, friends, and grateful citizens from all over the State paid their respects to Officer Bejar.
A Candlelight Vigil was held in honor of Officer Bejar Sunday, March 7th, at 7 p.m. at the Reedley High School Stadium.
The Reedley Police Officer's Association (POA) has set-up the Javier Bejar Support Fund at Chase Banks. Contributions can be made at any Chase Bank Location.
