FY 2018-19 Proposed Budget Now Available!
The City of Reedley Proposed Budget is now available for download by clicking here. The budget will be introduced to the City Council and public at the May 8, 2018 regular meeting of the City Council beginning at 7:00pm. There are also two special budget workshops scheduled on Tuesday, May 15th and Tuesday, May 29th. Both workshops will begin at 6:00pm in the City Council Chambers at 845 G Street. Hard copies of the budget document are available for inspection at City Hall located at 1717 9th Street, or the Reedley Branch Library located at 1027 E Street.

The City of Reedley, as the Lead Agency, proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for Annexation Application No. 2017-2, Pre-Zone Application No. 2017-2, and Site Plan Review Application No. 2017-3 (Manning-Buttonwillow Annexation).

Additional information on the proposed project, including a copy of the proposed environmental findings, may be obtained from the City of Reedley, Community Development Department, City Hall, 1733 Ninth Street, Reedley, California 93654 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM).
Environmental Assessment No. 2017-7, Annexation Application No. 2017-2, Pre-Zone Application No. 2017-2, and Site Plan Review Application No. 2017-3 are scheduled to be considered by the City of Reedley City Council on June 12, 2018. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at Reedley City Hall, located at 845 G Street, Reedley, California 96354.

Recreation Software Makes Registration More Convenient!
The Community Services staff is very excited to announce that the City of Reedley will implement Recreation Software beginning January 1, 2018. This will allow for easy registration from anywhere. Staff has been gearing up for this new step for a few months and are excited to get started! Users will have the ability to register for classes, sports leagues, swim lessons, etc. from the comfort of their own home. More information

In an effort to strengthen community partnerships and enhance public trust, the Reedley Police Department has implemented two new "TIP Line" numbers for the public to call in tips or specific information regarding criminal activity. These types of calls could be related to ongoing drug activity, gang activity, other criminal related conduct or "quality of life" issues that the public would like to report. These "tips" can now be called in telephonically through two separate phone numbers, one for English speaking citizens and one for Spanish speaking citizens. Sustainable Aviation Project
The Cities of Reedley and Mendota have partnered and recently been awarded a $1,071,348 grant from the Fresno County Transportation Authority for the purchase of four (4) electric trainer aircraft, and utilizing partnering organizations, provide flight training cost assistance for low income veterans, students and others from disadvantaged communities to demonstrate the feasibility of advanced electrified aviation technology to reduce traffic congestion, energy consumption and air emissions resulting from less vehicular traffic and less surface street congestion; and improve mobility in more densely developed areas by providing convenient and direct transit service. This is a groundbreaking project for the communities of Reedley and Mendota to be a part of, and there is exciting news coming as the program takes shape. Year Round Aquatics Opportunities
Enjoy Lap Swim and Water Aerobics year round. Check us out on our Aquatics Page. Lap passes must be purchased in advance at the Reedley Community Center. Water Aerobics monthly fee must be paid at the Reedley Community Center. Space is limited.
The City of Reedley and River City Theatre Company are working together to bring theater to those who may not otherwise have an opportunity to enjoy this experience. For every show offered by RCTC a group will be selected to attend. Many of your questions will be answered in the Dress Rehearsal Guidelines.
